Motorized Coin Sorter
Battery-operated coin sorter automatically organizes spare change.
Brookstone's motorized coin banks sort your change quickly and accurately. Pour pocket change into one of these convenient electronic coin sorters, and it channels your coins into wrappers. Built-in overflow area catches residual coins and prevents jamming. Includes one set of coin wrappers; additional wrappers sold separately. Uses 2 C batteries (not included).
The average American accumulates $600 in spare change each year. Our coin banks provide a simple and convenient way to collect, organize and cash in on your loose change. Five coin storage cylinders hold 50 cents in pennies, $5 in dimes, $2 in nickels, $10 in quarters, and $25 in dollar coins—that's over $42 in change.

coin vault works well, read directions
Good product, but read the directions carefully. The coin despository with wrappers must be closed correctly. Watch for capacity of rolls.

Comments about Motorized Coin Sorter:
Works OK for what it costs. It is not for commercial use, but handles your loose change OK. It gets stuck every now and then, but it is easy to clear. Don't drop in too many coins at a time.

Comments about Motorized Coin Sorter:
Bought one and after about $3 in pennies it jammed up. Took it back and exchanged it. The second one jammed up after less than 50cent in pennies and 2 dimes. Coins not the cause of jam; none were caught anywhere. Motor smelled hot and was extremely hot to the touch.

Pros
- Fun to use
- Improves Organization
- Sturdy
Cons
- Roll count not accurate
Best Uses
- Everyday Use
Comments about Motorized Coin Sorter:
At first we put the paper wrappers in the tubes as shown on the package only to find that the count in the tube was not always accurate. This caused us to have to empty the tubes to count the coins in each roll. Now we just let the coins go into the respective slots, without the wrappers, which this does very well. When the slot is full we empty it, count the coins and add insert them into the roll. Still better than having the coins in a jar as it does automatically sort them for you. Also a fun factor for the kids to load the coins and watch them zip into their slots.
