I got this as a gift for my boyfriend who can't seem to keep track of his motorcycle keys. He lives in a two story house. When he pushes the button from upstairs it doesn't seem to have the 60 ft range described - it's more like 30. But when on the same level, it seems pretty close to 60.

the ring tone on the key finder is too low. If it is hard to hear for none hearing impaired just think what would happen if a hearing impaired person tried to find their keys with it.

Mini key finder did not work as advertized. Had to get within 2 feet of the receiver to activate; by then, I could see my keys. Have returned for a replacement to come soon, I hope.

This has helped me find my keys a couple of times, but I've had to walk around the house with the button hoping that it registers with the unit and I can eventually hear it and track down my keys. So, it doesn't penetrate the walls but it does help you eventually find your keys!

Really good product idea. I am always misplacing my keys. So with one press of the button of the home fob I was able to find my keys. But the batteries did not last very long at all. Three months...and I did not use it even every day. Hoping that the original batteries were not new and that a fresh pair of batteries will extend the three month timeframe.
