I bought one of these about 5 years ago. It just broke at the seam and I used it everyday as a school teacher. Some days my load was heavy, other days light. It is a very comfortable strap, especially for heavy loads. I looked to see if I could find something that was better. I didn't seem to find anything so I am going to enjoy a second one.

This strap was fabulous while it worked. I bought this strap to replace the uncomfortable strap that came with my laptop brief. This strap started tearing at the seams of the padded portion of the strap about a month after I got it. All in all, the strap lasted for five months. It was comfortable while it lasted. The manufacturer should consider "tweaking" the design for sturdier seams.

The strap began to look tattered quite early. Hasn't physically broken, probably never will but looks like it's been around the world a few times when it actually hasn't. Detracts from the bag's general appearance. Disappointed with the quality of this Brookstone product.

Unfortunately, the strap broke soon after I began to use it. I did take it back to a Brookstone store and they replaced it. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this one holds up. If it does hold up, then it is a good product for the person who is looking for a comfortable briefcase stap.

I bought this strap at the Atlanta airport when one clasp of my laptop bag broke. Four months later it has completely fallen apart; at least I heard it tear and was able to keep the laptop from dropping. This is extremely disappointing, since the laptop case was never overstuffed or heavy and the strap was never abused. I definitely feel that I paid too much for a very poor quality product.
