This is a very well made product that will last for many years. I use it to sit when I type, watch television, or read. It is very durable and assists me to sit more upright and therefore keep my spine aligned for better health and posture. My breathing has improved with the simple straightening of my spine along with leg circulation as that I can now sit properly with feet flat on floor. [...] Great work Brookstone! This item is well made and the curvature is perfect for me. (5.7 130 male). But, where is the strap? This item falls down onto the chair or floor once you get up. It has no way of staying put. That can be annoying for those who get out of their chair more then once an hour. In fact, it's counterproductive considering the fact that you have to bend over, further strain your already injured back, and pick it up every time it falls of.

I tried this in the car, but it was a bit too large for the seat. It works perfectly in my home office chair, though. I have a bad habit of leaning forward when I work on the computer, and this cushion is a good reminder for me to maintain proper posture. My low back is already thanking me!

I have suffered from two ruptured discs in my lower spine. I have had epidural shots twice and physical therapy series twice.
Beginning in January the pain came back and seemed worse after I had been sitting in my favorite chair despite the fact I was using a therapist recommended back cushion.
In desperation I ordered the Lumbar Support cushion on line and ever since it arrived and I began using it in my chair, I have had complete relief from back pain.
I really highly recommend it to anyone who sits a lot and suffers from lower back problems.
