These candles are great. We got some of the window mounted ones last year. The LED's lasted great throughout the season and again this year. This year we got some free-standing ones and then ordered more because we like them so well. We plan to use a few year-round as "portable night lights" - much less annoying than a flashlight or regular light. We like the light level and type - next best thing to a real candle, and much safer.
With regular light candles we had to replace the batteries every few days. These LED's easily last a whole season without battery replacement. It's so convenient to have something that automatically comes on in low light and shuts itself off in full light. And if you want to shut it off it takes just a twist of the bulb - the bulb doesn't fall out but the light goes off.
One of the candles we received with a prior order from another company, though, after storing (in the original packing materials) we pulled it out and the bulb was crooked instead of straight up-and-down. This was annoying. Then we swapped it into one of the candle sticks from this order. But then we dropped it and now it's quite loose but still works.

Really like the idea of a cordless window candle. The light is small and yellow, resembling a natural flame. Perhaps a little dim for larger windows, it looks lost. One of the bulbs I received with the candle did not work. Based on reviews, I will need to purchase another candle because the bulb color for replacement bulbs is different. That is disappointing and not encouraging for future use.

We have a lot of windows that face the road and I'm terrible with remembering to turn off electronics, so I needed something cordless and automatic on/off. These fit the bill. The only complaint I have is that they are pretty dim- I had noted this after reading other reviews that this was a risk, and, unfortunately, I ended up agreeing with those reviewers.
I did also read that the white replacement bulbs can put off a brighter light, so I'm going to snag some of those if they ever become available.

My grandparents always put electric candles in the windows for Christmas. My cousin does the same (and she has a lot of windows!). I wanted to continue the tradition. At first I thought these candles were too expensive, but eventually I ordered six. I'm glad I did. They are so much nicer than the ones my grandparents had. The flame bulb is beautiful and sure enough, they come on at dusk and turn off at dawn. Since they're battery operated, there are no cords to worry about. I plan to buy more next year.

The light from the candles was not as bright as I had hoped. I live a considerable distance from the road, and thought the light would show up better. Otherwise, were well made and worked as advertised (off at daytime, on at night).

No electric cords for cats to chew!
But battery life is short and at two AA batteries per candle, it gets expensive over several months of operating!
Love to keep them in house windows until evenings are no longer dark.
