Over a 17-year period in the MLB, Bunning pitched with the Detroit Tigers and the Philadelphia Phillies.
At the point of his retirement, he had the second-highest career strikeout total in Major League history. Bunning pitched the seventh perfect game in baseball history on June 21, 1964 against the New York Mets. Using a blue ballpoint pen, Jim Bunning has hand signed this official MLB baseball and added "PG 6/21/64". A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
