Jeffersonian Brass Wind Gauge
Inventive, decorative gauge measures wind speed and direction.
Inspired by Thomas Jefferson's remarkable expertise in mechanical invention, this distinctive heirloom quality gauge measures both wind speed and direction.
Its stainless steel pointer displays wind speeds up to 40 miles per hour. A cobalt blue glass counter balance bead pinpoints wind direction on the wind gauge while acting as a damper to keep the wind speed indicator steady. Made of solid brass, glass and stainless steel, the gauge is rust-resistant, and its antiqued finish takes on a beautiful patina as the years go by. Gauge comes with two 14" brass rods and a pressure-treated wooden stake for ground installation with a total height of 42". Also includes hardware to mount gauge to a post, fence or deck rail, if you wish.
Add a touch of history to your yard, garden or deck and know how the wind blows. Order your Jeffersonian Brass Wind Gauge from Brookstone today!
