Bought two as stocking stuffers. The stand is great for viewing phone on desktop during video playback or E-mail. Phones stayed put using the two rubber rings on two of the "legs." The stylus is handy but the tip is a bit large. I agree with another reviewer that the cleaning cloth is a nice idea, but poorly executed.
For the price, this is a fun product for an out of the ordinary gift.

Buyer beware. This Jack won't hold new phones. Failed to hold Droid Maxx and Samsung S3. You have to carefully balance the phone in order to get it to stay, but once it's held the slightest touch makes it fall out. I'm sure a rubber case will help but you can tell this product wasn't really tested. works as a good shoulder/back massager.
Also the cleaning cloth is not likely to last long as it gets smashed.
The stylus is also difficult to get out.
All made of cheap plastic. Would have been better if it was all rubber.

i wonder if people who say it won't hold their phones got the product upside down. I did at first and i won't hold. but i noticed the brookstone text was upside down. I fliiped it and it works great with my htc phone. It was a htc incredible with a less than 4" screen though. didn't try any phone with bigger screen

It's to light and it falls over. The way the stand is made the phone slips sideways and the screen is not towards you, it faces the ceiling.

Not stable, iPhone always fall. I have to balance it perfectly so the phone will stay. Needs so sort of rubberized material so it won't slide so easily

If used on a non skid surface you might be able to lean against it otherwise the balance of your cell phone is a bit precarious. Not really very useful when it came down to it..

Very disappointed. Saved a gift card for quite a while and purchased four of these with the card for gifts. They all had the screen cleaner that is suppose to be tucked away, missing. With any type of case on an i-phone is is very tricky to get the jack to stand up. Was hoping it would be a good, sturdy stand to set your phone down to play games or watch a movie. If you use the pointer at all, it tips the whole phone over. If I had it to do all over again, I would never have purchased these. I gave them for gifts and kept one...almost embarrassed I gave them...wish I could return them all.

I loathe giving this product even one star, it's that bad. When you put your phone on it, the stand is very unstable. Do not waste your money on this. The poor quality of this product reflects poorly on the reputation of Brookstone.
