I turn it on with the remote to listen to quiet music while I have my first cup of coffee in the a.m. For a unit this size the sound is really good. I can't complain about the price either. It has a number of nice features also. I like the idea of docking my iPOD to it and having it charge while I play music from it. It sits very unobtrusively in my living room. And, it is easy to use.

Overall, the iDesign is nice to enjoy around the house. I personally would not use it for large parties or backyard barbeques but for a dinner party it would suffice. The first time I transported the device from my bedroom to downstairs, the top slid off and became unconnected to the base. Thank goodness I was quick or it would have been damaged. Be sure to cradle it like a baby when transporting. The sound quality is average. The design is sleek and modern. Another note; it's not exactly smooth when either placing the iPhone in the device or removing it. I enjoy it most when I'm in the kitchen preparing meals or relaxing in my bedroom.

well i had this device for about 2 months now to be used in my bedroom. I decided to open it because i brought a new ipod touch.....i was very pleased, the ipod work great, the radio was on point. I did not try the cd yet hopefully i will have a good review with that too. I am going to purchase another one for my living room plus it is really stylish and looks really nice on display
