Overall, it does what its supposed to so worth the money. I actually purchased mine at the mall on sale for [$] I use it between my shoulder blades and up near back of neck and also lower back... it does relieve the tenseness I get (especially since Im 8 months pregnant!)So the only downfall is that it is quite heavy so you get the best massage if someone does it for you!! THAT feels great! :)

I tend to hold my stress in my shoulders and upper back. This really did the trick in relieving that. Good pressure; and the shape is perfect for getting behind the shoulder blades!! I decided to buy a home a massager because I spend too much on spas. Saw this online, but bought at a Brookstone store nearby. I only give it 4 stars bcuz it gets heavy after holding it awhile. Also, there isn't much heat. For the price, it's a terrific buy. I definitely recommend it.

I visit a massage therapist very regularly for shoulder and neck tension. This is very handy for the spots on my body that tend to tense back up between massages and will help reduce the number of visits to the massage therapist. This reaches my tight spots, particularly between the shoulder blades, that other massage products haven't been able to release the tension well. I don't find it difficult to hold or handle to reach them either, unlike other products. I don't find it too heavy or bulky either, considering I am a female with smaller hands. I have recommended this product to friends and coworkers!
