I just received it so I can't yet speak to the performance, but this radio is not compatible out of the box with iPhone4/4S. The radio uses interchangeable base adapters to accommodate the different shape among the Apple products. The picture shows a iPhone 4/4S with the clock, however it will not work without ordering a $6 + shipping part from iHome. There is no mention of this anywhere in the product description as of the time of this review. Also, the clock is,shown mostly black with a little silver. Instead it is exactly opposite, silver with black trim.
