After a lot of research I purchased the iDesign Cube because it is one of the few products out there with all of the features I use at a reasonable price point. It fits perfectly on my nightstand, has great sound, and is easy to program and use. The display brightness settings, dual alarm, and am/fm radio mean I can go to sleep listening to my iPod with the sleep timer option and wake up to the radio.

The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars is the lack of a remote control, but since I use it near my bed it isn't a huge deal.

A nice design but for the price, the radio should be built in. What is it with additional wires to have to set up and an antenna? My husband's iphone 4G didn't fit despite the adapters...even taking his cover case off. The alarms were easy to set and like the options on dimming the time light.

This product is very easy to set up - station settings, time, alarms, etc - and is efficient to use. Two alarms can easily be turned off/on with push buttons. A number of inserts are included so that the docking station can receive various Iphones and Ipods. My Iphone wouldn't connect in the docking station with the protector on it. As such, I didn't need the insert but the appearance was not as sleek as intended. Not a big deal, though. Very pleased with the product.

Works fine with Ipod Touch 4G. I just had to set it so that the unit would not automatically turn on when I put my ipod in the dock. I was having one issue with volume not working sometimes, and this fixed it, and manual tells you how. You can tell product is well made and will last.

I use this without the dock adapter as I have a case and it won't fit. It works fine without the adapter, but you must be careful not to press too hard.

Wanted a compact clock radio for our son and this fit the bill. He is not that interested in docking his IPod, but loves to listen to sports radio WFAN as he drifts off to sleep. This was easy to set, attractive and loaded with great features. Much to our dismay it does not receive any AM stations. (Yes, we plugged in the AM antenna.) That's saying a lot since we live 40 miles outside NYC. We have other clock radios that have no problem getting some AM reception, including an old $15.00 transistor radio. If you're using your IPod with this - you'll love it. I would think twice about it if you have any ideas about listening to AM radio.

Simple to set up and easy to use. The size is slightly big but not a problem for me. The alarm (1 & 2) on/off is easy to see and use. The alarm time is shown when it is on and not shown when off. There is an icon to show you what you've chosen to wake up to: iPod/iPhone, radio or beep. Snooze button is 10 minutes. The alarm volume (set to my iPhone 3G) starts softly then increases and will stay on for an hour then automatically shuts off (ever have someone's alarm go off and not be able to shut it off because you live in an apt. or dorm and don't have access to that alarm?). I find the low and increasing of volume pleasant to wake up to. I have not tried the "beep" setting. The buttons are easy and lights up in blue when pressed and does not stay on for too long. My favorite feature is the display control of the clock: High, medium, low, dim and off. Some alarm's display is too bright in the room when all the lights are off. If you set it to off but your alarm goes on, it automatically turns to low light setting. I really like the simplicity mixed with modern standards of today's technology. Wish it had a remote though! That's my only complaint.

It replaces my 30 year-old clock radio. It is attractive. The alarm comes one quietly and builds in intensity. That's cool. It charges my iPod while I go to sleep listening to my favorite music. And, it is so easy to operate.
