Portable--take your music anywhere.
Now you don't have to sacrifice great tunes just because you're on the road. Lightweight, compact and sounds so good--this speaker makes the perfect traveling companion. The speaker and stand fold flat to pack away neatly and protect the speaker at the same time. The Ultra-Thin Travel Speaker Connects to any MP3 player, laptop, or DVD player and other media devices via 3.5mm cable included.
NXT® flat panel technology delivers rich, full sound.
Traditional cone speakers have relatively narrow sound dispersion and you'd have to stand in a tiny area to experience the "sweet spot." The Ultra-Thin Travel Speaker uses NXT® technology to make use of the entire speaker panel, both in front and in back, to fill any room with fuller, more lifelike sound.
Ultra-Thin Travel Speaker folds flat--perfect for traveling.
The stand fits snugly against the panel and it measures only 5" x 6" x 0.75" when folded, so it won't take up valuable space in your bag. When it's folded, the stand also protects the speaker panels from being damaged. Designed to give you the best of both worlds--sound and portability.
The more you hear about our Ultra-Thin Travel speaker, the better it sounds. Order today!

My laptop is very quiet and I needed a speaker that could really boost the sound so my husband and I could watch movies while on business trips without resorting to headphones. This is the BEST speaker I found, hands down. It is so much clearer than other speakers I've bought (which is v. important for me because I'm hearing impaired). Also, it's so thin it slips right in my laptop case no problem. The ONLY problem I have with it is the "on" light is very bright, which can draw the eye. I simply covered it with a strip from a post-it note and it's fine. I highly recommend this speaker!

I use this product on my nana ipod, connecting it was fairly easy. But the sound quality was very poor on some of my music selections compared what I heard at the store. I could barely hear the vocals on some selections, very poor vocals. Only heard the instruments as the vocals were muffed in the background.
I should have brought me a real portable sound system, at least the vocal would have been better.
Poor design overall....would not recommend this product

Comments about Ultra-Thin Travel Speaker:
This is a nice compact travel speaker.
Thin folding rectangular form is easier to pack and more practical
for travel than the "hockey puck" design of some other poular brands.
Sound quality is good for laptop, MP3 player or other small audio source.
It's easy to overdrive however, so not suitable for high volume listening.
A similar Logitech NXT flat speaker I own plays louder but isn't as compact.
The batteries last a long time, though I'd prefer an AC adapter option.

Comments about Ultra-Thin Travel Speaker:
I am using this speaker to play music or amplify sound coming from my pc when I'm in meetings or on the road in hotel rooms. It's not the quality of a $500 speaker system (I have that at home), but it isn't supposed to be. It's decent enough fidelity, and it certainly works in a hotel room. I love the thing.
Size is just right too. Easy to fold up and take in my suitcase. One thing I wish for- rechargable battery or simple cord. Not sure how long 3 AAA batteries will last, but they're still going after 3-4 trips.

Comments about Ultra-Thin Travel Speaker:
I purchased this product to use in lecturing to students because the speaker in the laptop I use for PowerPoint presentations and for internet links to videos, doesn't project sound sufficiently to use in larger rooms. I have never been so instantly pleased with a product before. It works EXACTLY as advertised and plugs into the earphone jack on the laptop. No fuss, just add the 3 batteries and turn on the speaker. All that for the advertised price!

I use this to stream music from my BlackBerry while listening to Pandora. Works great as a PC speaker and sounds great in small spaces...wish it had an AC adapter though. So far on same batteries since Christmas and going strong...

Comments about Ultra-Thin Travel Speaker:
Everything is an ipod dock hard to find variety of things that I can play my zune on. This works great for any smaller room/area sound quality is excellent for the size of the speaker. Of Course no base but for something that runs on triple A batteries it does what it does well.

Comments about Ultra-Thin Travel Speaker:
This product is great to supplement poor speakers on laptops and slips easily into a briefcase. The sound can distort somewhat what but if you ajust the speaker drum it corrects. It is great for short audio prentations and clips. We bought four of them.

Sound quality is poor. Brookstone associates laughed at me when I told them about poor sound quality. "What did you expect for the price?"
