The description states that the bookcase is made of "Solid Wood". Far from the truth as most of the bookcase is made of particle board. The centers of the main pieces are also "hollow" and the indentations of the hollow centers are clear in good lighting during assembly.
The veneers also will peel off very easily, even upon the slightest nick.
Never buying office furniture from Brookstone again. Should have just stuck to paying more and getting a much higher quality bookcase.
