Previously I always had to balance myself and my luggage on a bathroom scale to make sure I was not over their limit, so I could stick with one bag to pay for. This scale makes it much more easy to weigh the heavy bags. Subsequently I gave one to my daughter also who travels frequently to the Orient for business, and now can save easily on her heavy luggage fees.
