Place the end of a knive’s cutting edge (near the handle) in the sharpener at a 90° angle to either module 1 or 2. Draw the blade, with very little pressure, toward yourself slowly. Don’t use too much pressure or a see-saw motion. You may have to repeat this process up to five times to get the results you want. You can check your results by cutting into a piece of paper.
