This projector is well worth the cost. I use it on almost a daily basis for entertainment. It easily without exaggeration will project a crystal clear video well over the advertised 60" It is regularly used at about 200" in a room with blinds drawn during the day and still impresses. It gives gaming a whole new dynamic and movies are HD quality. I have been able to max it out at approximately 400" with little loss in video quality. (projected it against the side of the house at night) The claimed battery life is pretty accurate dyeing out right around the 2 hr mark. The speakers work however for obvious reasons plugging in an external speaker will complete the experience. This product will not disappoint. It easily compares to much larger projectors minus the lumen output. However don't underestimate the power of "80 lumens"

It would be good if a few things were thought of beforehand. If you want the image to be smaller or larger, you have to physically move the projected as opposed to a resize option in regular projectors. That makes it difficult if you have a large room but want the image to be not as large due to wall/screen space.
Also, the HDMI plug to the phone was so large that it didn't allow for me to have the power plugged into the phone while connected. The HDMI from this projector had an adaptor that was too large at the base. Need a better design.

Yes, it does have 85 lumens, but for some reason this device is just not bright enough. In order to enjoy something close to a bright screen, you will have to make sure the room is pitch dark. Using this projector on a regular basis will be unsatisfying. It might be a nice toy for a friendly hangout. But if you are thinking of replacing your t.v with this device, I do not recommend that at all.

It helps to see and surf the web with my iPhone or iPad on a bigger screen . It can also be used to watch movies and TV shows . Also great for playing video games. It has the best battery life for a single charge. This goes about 2 hours, and others last about 75 minutes. It's one of my favorite new accessories. I highly reccomend it to anyone!

This is probably best pico projector you can currently buy, especially if you mostly use it for watching movies. Picture quality is is exceptional, probably the best in pico projector category. Room doesn't need to be fully darkened but you will get best picture in fully darkened room.
Of course we are talking here about pico category so it is not to be compared with home theater projectors. And yes, although it will accept full 1080p signal it will downscale it to 854x480. So this is not 1080p projector.
Small and very light has best battery economy in the class. No other pico projector can last full two hours on the battery without reducing luminescence. In fact, not many pico projectors have same projecting quality when plugged in and on the battery. On top of that this is one of the brightest small projectors with 85 lumens.
Full size HDMI port is also very good choice as it allows connecting more devices than it is the case with mini HDMI or VGA port.
Another good thing is at first glance odd choice to include USB port for charging. This is not just useful for charging you phone when it's out of juice. Some android phones like my Galaxy Note require power connection while connected to mini USB to HDMI converter. This means I can use this projector without power outlet when projecting from my phone which would be impossible without USB port.
What I miss the most is keystone adjustment. You need to position projector completely vertically and horizontally aligned with the wall, otherwise you will get more or less distorted projection.
All in all this is one of those products that represent stepping stones in technology advancements.

This product has met all of my expectations. My wife brought this for me, shortly thereafter I deployed out of country and I have used it everyday. It's realiable and easy to set up. If I had one issue, I think it should have its own internal speaker system. Other than that it is awesome.

This is a pretty neat little package advertising 85 lumens. It is small enough to bring to work meetings and have at the ready. It is the kind of product we have grown to expect from Brookstone. However, the power adapter is clunky and awkward to pack in the provided carrying case. It should have had folding prongs. The provided carrying case seems an odd after-thought because the items do not neatly or intuitively fit in the case. This is unfortunate - the point of the small device is to make it easy to carry. A folding prong power adapter and a purpose-built carrying case would improve this product.

I tested several of the pocket size LCD's and this was the best of the bunch. Not great for big presentation rooms or even large conference rooms. But to show on a white wall with 3 or 4 people around it, it performed well.
