I was given the wireless thermometer as a gift. It is a very useful grilling accessory. In the off season, I lost the temperature probe. This is the OEM replacement and I expect good results. Maybe I will find the original and have a spare.

I use this product weekly but to make it last do not allow direct flame to touch cable as this will quickly destroy the probe as I have found out twice. With that in mind I adjusted my grilling and oven use and the probe will last a good long time until it wears out from repeated use and putting away. May get longer use if I never wound braided cable probe to put away.

The entire remote thermometer is a fantastic device. Weak spot has been the probe and connector cable. This replacements puts the whole device back to "new."
