Graig Nettles was one of the finest defensive third baseman to ever play the position and was a key member of four pennant-winning New York Yankees teams in 1976-78 and 1981.

He manned the hot corner when the Bombers won it all in 1977 and 1978. He led the American League in home runs in 1976, received a Gold Glove Award in 1977, and was named the seventh captain in Yankees' history on January 29, 1982.
