Classic antique goldtone pendant displaying the Silver Mercury Dime layered in pure gold on a 24" antique goldtone chain. The Mercury dime was designed by Adolph Weinman and is known as "Winged Liberty" for its resemblance to the Roman god Mercury, messenger to the other gods. It is a U.S. coin minted from 1916 to 1945.
