Celebrate the heroes of D Day with this Framed Coin and Stamp Collection!
Code named Operation Overlord, American, British and Canadian forces began the battle also known as D Day on June 6, 1944.
Some say it was the beginning of the end of the war in Europe, as the Allied forces defeated the German Nazis.

Celebrate the heroes of this historical battle and enjoy reading the front page of the New York Times dated June 7, 1944. The official reproduction of the front page of the New York Times is displayed in a 16 by 14 inch black wood frame, and includes 6 genuine US coins and 4 mint US postage stamps.

Included in this heroic piece of history are 3 Lincoln Copper Wheat Cents mint marked Philadelphia, Denver and San Francisco all in 1944, a 1944 Jefferson Silver Wartime Nickel, a 1944 Mercury Silver Dime, a 1944 Washington Silver Quarter, a 1 Cent 1943 Four Freedoms postage stamp - FDR determined the freedoms as the freedom of speech and expression, the freedom to worship God in one’s own way, freedom from want, and freedom from fear - a 3 cent stamp issued in 1953 celebrating the colorful General George S. Patton for his many victories as commander of the US Third Army, a 1 cent Franklin D. Roosevelt Hyde Park Residence stamp issued in 1945 shortly after the President passed away, and a 3 cent Win the War Stamp issued in 1942, one of only three issues in 1942.
