Framed Bill Buckner & Mookie Wilson Dual Signed: 1986 World Series, Game 6

It's perhaps the most memorable play in the history of baseball. Game 6 of the 1986 World Series found the New York Mets down 5-3 to the Boston Red Sox in the 10th inning. On the brink of elimination, the Mets managed to tie the game at 5 before Mookie Wilson's slow dribbler up the first base line slipped through the legs of Red Sox first baseman, Bill Buckner. The historic gaffe allowed Ray Knight to round third and score, giving the Mets a 6-5 victory. The Mets would go on to win the World Series in 7 games. This 16" x 20" photograph, commemorating the historic play, has been hand signed by both Mookie Wilson and Bill Buckner. Wilson added the inscription "10/25/86." A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included. Comes framed with a descriptive nameplate.
