I have recently moved to a cold climate from a warm one and I didn't have a robe. I came across this robe by chance. My lucky day! I have only used it for a month, so I haven't used it in all situations and I haven't washed it, but I LOVE it. It is a soft pink color and soooo soft you can't believe, but not heavy. It keeps me perfectly warm when I go outside to get the paper in 32 degree weather. I am 56 and have hot flashes and this robe does not make me overly warm in the house. It is comfortable too, not bulky. I am 180 pounds and 5'9" and it fits fine, not too small not too big. I will have this robe for as long as it lasts.[$] is pricey for me, but I won't be looking for a replacement robe, like I usually do. This robe just makes me feel good. I get a smile just looking at it. I think Brookstone sells items to match, a blanket, slippers, pillow. When I have the money I will buy them too. I assure you this is a honest assessment. If I didn't love it so much I would not bother writing a review.

This robe was sooo soft, but I had to return it. I loved the way it felt, but the sleeves are way short. Yes, I am tall, however these are the shortest sleeves I have ever seen. They're just short enough to be extremely uncomfortable. Also, all the seams are puckered, like the thread was too tight for the material. The side seams were drawn up, a lot, because of the tension at the seams.
