The functions of the tool are average but the flashlight is annoying with the bulb constantly falling out of the housing. I ended up just unscrewing it and throwing it away.

Received this as a birthday present and have used it every day sense. Very helpful for small every day tasks. Light is not amazing but given the size very good. Even water proof. I have left it in my pocket six times to date and sent it through the wash and it come out smiling each time. Quite literally the last time it was actually on when I brought it out of the water.

I have owned one of these for a couple of years now, I need to carry something for work. so far it has been great but every couple of months I have to replace the flashlight batteries. it keeps twisting on in my pocket.

My four-year-old son loves this little multi-tool of his daddy's and likes to carry it around. I didn't realize it was still in his pocket and I washed it with his pants. As I unloaded the laundry, I found the Brookstone multi-tool with flashlight at the bottom of my washer STILL shining brightly in the "on" position. I was amazed that it not only survived the abuse of my son, but it also shone brightly during the whole course of the laundry cycle!

Cannot be folded as a Swiss knife. It is not practical to use the knife, because the pliers stand in the way.
As a woman, I cannot carry it on the pocket comfortably.
