I was always able to use the watch since I always like to know what time it is. I also used it since It's nice to have a flashlight on hand whenever I go somewhere dark. I felt though that the watch's frame could scratch easily but not so much that I could no longer read time. The design of the watch along with the color seemed very appealing to me and the elastic band was very functional and easy to slip on. Overall a very nice and practical watch.

The only reason I give this such a low rating is because one of the watches I purchased could not withstand its first time going through a shower.
That said, I loved this watch. I bought 2 of them since they were so awesome. The first one was GREAT. Loved the way it looked and fit but the first shower I took with it, I noticed afterwards that there was a bunch of condensation inside the watch screen. It eventually goes away but anytime there is moisture in the air, the condensation returns.
Other than this minor detail I would give this five stars and consider this a great buy!

For the price, I didn't expect over the top quality - just wanted something that would last for a one week beach vacation. Since I'd had one of Brookstone's supposedly waterproof watches leak before, I never wore this swimming. But just three days of sweating was enough to bring on first the tell tale condensation under the crystal and then complete failure. Will never buy a Brookstone anything again.

The silicone band is great once you get it over your hand. The watch comes out of the band every time you put it on. The thickness of the watch component is terrible, about a half an inch.
