Who sells a keyboard with 12 function keys, but no obvious way to program them? Okay, first things first. Initial impression: lightweight, good size - slightly wider/taller than an iPad. The black plastic is very shiny, which might annoy some people. The keyboard is firm, but can bend slightly. Not sure how it will hold up if it gets knocked around in a briefcase.

Pairing is easy, which should be a given with any Bluetooth device nowadays. What I noticed first was the ridiculously small shift key on the right; when my finger clicks on it it's so small that I invariably hit the up arrow next to it instead, and wind up typing on a different line and have to go back and cut and paste it all. To give you an idea of how annoying it is, I am writing this review using the iPad's keyboard and microphone function, not the brookstone keyboard.

There is also a row of 12 function keys, but they serve no function that I can discern and there are no instructions anywhere on how to program them. Seems rather useless, or else poor design and implementation. Overall, not worth it. If the keyboard is more annoying than helpful, then I'm not going to use it.

I bought this keyboard for my Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 tablet (first generation so far). I previously had the Brookstone flexible keyboard that rolls up but got tired of it deleting entire lines or section of text, foreign character menus appearing or additional mistakes due to the squishy rubber keys.

I did a lot of research on portable keyboards, and this keyboard was the most reasonably priced. I love it - works great. It is about as wide as the longest length of my tablet and is easy to use as a normal keyboard, although the keys are not as high. I have long fingernails, and I am still able to type with ease. The directional arrows to move the cursor are fantastic for editing text. The delete and backspace key work fine for me.

Bluetooth pairing involved:
- Charge your keyboard overnight first. You will need a USB connection or an electrical adapter that allows you to plug in the included USB cord (keyboard has a small, special hook-up)
- Turn on the tiny on/off switch on the left side of the keyboard
- Bring up your Bluetooth settings on your tablet. I found if I turn it off/on and scan for devices, it works best. On the keyboard, press the circle icon above the Charge/Power words on the top right to allow the keyboard to pair.
- You should get a message it paired or see it paired.
- Once it is paired, I only have to turn the keyboard on and it normally pairs by itself without pressing the icon.

Once or twice, I have had trouble getting it re-paired and one night I couldn't get it re-paired no matter what but it worked the next night after I re-charged everything.

Charge seems to last a good amount of time - several nights if I turn off the keyboard after using it each night.

Stylus has two sides - a very thick and a thinner point (unwind the pen). I find it is easier to click on the screen than the Note's S-Pen stylus. It can also be used to write.

Warning: the tablet comes with replacement stylus rubber tips, so when you open the box, be careful they do not drop out and you lose the tiny bag like I did.

The keyboard is very lightweight and would fit easily in your carry-on and its hard plastic backing allows you to type with it on your lap. It comes in a leather case which is nice for traveing.

I bought an additional keyboard for my dad and his Note tablet, and he likes it as well. This is a fantastic keyboard and I hope it lasts a long while.

The keys respond very quickly, smoothly and comfortably just like a regular keyboard. It is small and light enough to slip easily into my computer bag for work. The leather case provides excellent protection. This is an excellent purchase. Don't think it could get any better!!

I bought this when I had a few hours to spare and always wanted a slim bluetooth keyboard. This is the slimest I have seen on the market so far and it is portable and lives in my tablet sleeve.

The keyboard is lightweight and easy to use, especially for travel or going to/from work. It is a slick black making it look professional. It's a larger keyboard size than most offered out there, but I think it makes it more comfortable to type on, without adding weight to the keyboard. I wish it came with a stand like the Logitech to keep the Ipad upright when you type. It's fine if you already have a stand/case for your Ipad.

I was able to connect to the iPad2 after reinserting charger cable for a minute. Everything was working fine. *Then* I tried deleting something. It deleted backwards, like the backspace key! I cannot get it to delete the letters in front of the cursor. I guess that having the delete key and backspace key so close together might have crossed some wires or something, but a keyboard without a delete key is pretty useless to me. Also, neither function key works, rendering four other keys useless as well. Overall, this has been a frustrating and disappointing experience.

Just bought this product during a layover at the airport. Only issue I had initially was how to make it 'discoverable' to sync (need to depress the wireless icon in right top corner). Otherwise works great for both my laptop and ipad. A bit bigger than other bluetooth keyboards, but just as lightweight and packs well in the carrying sleeve.

So disappointed, this was going to be the perfect solution for some holiday travel. Now I can't plan on using it at all because it won't sync.
