The caduceus was the staff carried by Hermes, the messenger of the gods, as a symbol of peace. Its similarity to the staff of Asclepius the healer resulted in modern times in the adoption of the caduceus as a symbol of the physician. Medical themed cufflinks by Ravi Ratan feature a raised 3D caduceus mounted on a black enamel background. Sterling silver and enamel with straight post whale back closure.
