Somewhat disappointed that the Night-Light is very dim – less light than a "normal" night light you may find at a grocery store that uses those clear old fashioned mini "Christmas type light bulbs." I would have liked to have seen more personal settings allowing the user to set the light to their personal preference, such as lights of the flashlight double as a night light for more illumination, or the night light to be a brighter light – or at least white in color over the yellow. Flash light emits a blue tint light that does not give a lot of light, but enough to see in the dark. Good for a dark garage, or to get around the house during a power outage, or light-house work during the night, such as checking around the house. Flashlight turns on immediately when removed from the charging base and off when replaced. If you find that you always want to have at least one or two back-up reliable flashlights and not have to worry about dead batteries – I recommend this product.

I purchased two of these last year for my house. They work as a nightlight and if the power goes out, the flashlight portion turns on automatically. You can then take it out of its outlet cradle for carrying around the house. I liked mine so much, I bought one for my sister and once for my son.
