Dwight Gooden Signed MLB Baseball - No Hitter Inscription
Dwight Gooden Signed MLB Baseball - No Hitter Inscription
Makes the perfect gift for the sports fan in your life!
Dwight Gooden, known to Mets fans as Doc or Dr. K, epitomized the 'gotta believe' Mets in the mid- 80's. Throughout his career, Doc was a fearless pitcher who helped lead the Mets to a World Series in 1986. He finished his career with the crosstown rival Yankees with a .634 winning percentage and 2293 strikeouts to his credit. And during the Yankees magical 1996 season, Gooden pitched a no-hitter against the Mariners on May 14.
The player who routinely hit 95 mph on the radar gun as a rookie in 1984 was back for one more fleeting moment. His fastball was back. Doc Gooden has hand signed this MLB baseball and added the inscription, "No Hitter, 5-14-96." A Steiner Sports Certificate of Authenticity is included.
Dimensions: 2.8" L x 2.8" W x 2.8" H; 1.3 lbs.
Note: Display case is not included.
