I've seen other heating blankets that have small wires, yet I've never found one wrapped in luxuriously soft-to-my-skin fabric. The Nap® line has always been a favorite of mine at Brookstone and this makes it even better. Plus, my husband gets to set the temp on his side of the bed. We're both happy campers…er…sleepers.

We were looking for a nice electric blanket to warm our beds before we went to bed and turn it off when we settle in. The blanket warms up fast and evenly without any problem. It was very pleasant until I started noticing that I weak up a few times a night covered in sweat because I am too hot. The blanket is off and nothing should be adding extra heat, but that is when I noticed that there is a plastic sheet inside the blanket which prevents it from breathing. I had to take the blanket off in order to have a good night sleep. I may contact the manufacturer to see if I can put it between the mattress and the mattress cover....The cords are really bothersome too. There is a lot of it.

My husband and I never agree on the thermostat temperature, especially at night. This blanket is the best thing ever! It is super soft, unlike normal heating blankets, and it keeps us cozy and warm. Another benefit- we have been sleeping super soundly ever since we got it. My husband is sleeping so well that he has been on time or early to work everyday since we got it (instead of being late nearly everyday) and I've been waking up before my alarm. We are LOVING this blanket. I don't know how we survived without it!

I don't know how this will hold up, but we got it yesterday and plugged it in and were nice and warm(but not too warm) when we went to bed. It is hard climbing into a cold bed. We were able to keep the thermostat lower than usual and we were comfortable all night. There are 10 temperature settings and we can each control our side of the bed. I used to use a heating pad which would either be too hot or go off and then I'd wake up and turn it on again. This stayed warm all night and will automatically turn off after 10 hours if you forget to turn it off in the morning. Happy so far!
