I originally purchased this item not so much as a "Fun Office Gadget" but as a quick and easy way to leave update messages for people who stopped by office. The sign is very easy to set up and get some messages entered but a MAJOR drawback is some of the characters in the words displayed on the sign become so separated and drawn out that it becomes very hard to understand the message. The user interface is a bit hokey as well, not something that I could call a real "Program" more like a pop-up box with a few text fields. Another item that isn't very clear is that they show the item can accept audio files (.wav) as a compliment to a message. Although it can accept a music file it merely plays the clip through the computer/speakers. This item has a good idea going for it, but it needs some major overhaul before it could be anything more than a quirky desktop item. I always like to get some sort of value out of an item purchased and I do not feel this item lives up to a 1/4 of the price paid.
