The pocket-size remote control lets you operate him from up to five feet away. Control Dave’s actions with the remote out of sight (even in your pocket). Four mode buttons (Action, Greeting, Puppet and Conversation) control his behavior. Once a mode is selected simply use the keypad buttons (1, 2, 3, 4) to see his gestures. Press the keypad multiple times to activate further behaviors – he has over 30! If not interacted with for more than 60 seconds he will “fall asleep” to save his batteries.

I bought 2 of these monkeys. First they are not that funny. They sound so computerized that you cant really understand it. In this day and age of technology I was hoping for allot better. The remote isnt that friendly to figure out how it works to get it to do all the moves it is supporsed to. My kids were done with it within 15 minutes and adult friends were not stimulated or laughing either. I would say it is worth about 50 to 75% less then what I paid for it.

I am opening a Home Daycare. My nickname for the children is Monkey-Doodles. What MORE fun than to have an interactive Monkey! I have monkeys everywhere, but NONE like this Funky Monkey. With the remote I make children laugh and take notice. Thanks for such a fun product!

Gave this to a 2 and a 4 year old. Not only did they love it but the the parents did as well. Great present for all! Only problem I had was finding a tool small enough to unscrew/screw the 2 screws.
