The battery operated candles are a great idea and look nice. They are well made and easy to install. Do not expect lighting from them, they are mostly just decoration. My main complaint is that they are using up batteries quickly because unless it is bright and sunny, they are still faintly lit. Another consideration is that the bulbs that come with the candles are actually a yellow color, more like a flame. If you are looking for white then you will need to buy replacement bulbs. Unfortunately I have not been able to find the replacement bulbs currently. Overall, however, I like the look and the quality of the candles. I purchased them on sale so feel that I got a good value.

The listing for this product is incorrect. It does NOT easily secure to any window sill. In fact, I couldn't close my windows after placing the candle in there. I think these candles are better for people with older windows. It looks great at night from the outside, but we had to tape them down with painter's tape. Definitely disappointing.

Have looked for and bought no cord window lights each year for past 10 years and thougt i finally found the perfect ones. Too bad light is too dim to notice and most of the time light is on so it is a never ending mild orange glow. Guess my search continues.

I've been searching for these window candles
for a long time. They're just what I wanted.
I don't have wide window sills, so the clip
holds the candle in place and eliminates the
plastic candle holders. Another great feature
is that they are LED. I'm saving electricity and I don't even have to turn them on and off every night. They are automatic. I love them! I can't wait until Christmas 2009 to use them again.

Purchased 14 candles for lighting windows at Christmas. Also purchased the white LED bulbs, which we like more that the amber bulbs that come with the candle. Being able to use these automatic on-off cordless candles is great compared to walking all over the house plugging/unplugging corded candles. The only negative is that the LED lights could be a little brighter.

I'm tempted to use these in my windows all year long. The cordless design means they don't intrude with curtains and I don't have to worry about the kids unplugging them. The light sensitive LED is great. The old-fashioned corded lights I used this year meant I had to go all around the house plugging and unplugging them every day. I'm so pleased with these.
