I put these candle in all of our downtairs windows for the winter holidays and it looked great. With three prechoolers in my home, safety is paramount to decoration. The LEDs in the candles stay cool and there are no cords to tempt my sons and daughter to tug or pull. Plus, in an older house such as my 1917, we don't always have outlet nearby and extension cords are forbidden with three curious kids.

Loved the concept of candelabra with dusk-to-dawn sensor, cordless and anchored in the windowsill. In my experience, the candles stayed lit all day on a barely-cloudy day, and on a brighter day 1 or 2 of the bulbs would stay on and 1 or 2 would go off; it seemed to depend on the angle of the sun hitting the unit. I knew this would not look consistent if I had these in all our front windows, so I reluctantly returned them. The units were attractive, just didn't work in practice they way they were described on the website.

I liked these candleabras a lot but was disappointed that they don't produce much light. They are solar activated, but run on batteries. Even when the batteries were new, they weren't very bright, and after a week or so, they got even fainter. This was disappointing.
