I called it, my white...elephant. But truly, the screen IS very attractive and now does double duty by hiding both the white basketball pool toy and our ac unit!

Love how well it sits on the pool side. Very stable and durable. The full size hoop makes it so much more fun especially with the big boys. The only problem is the ball it came with, after one week the small slick ball had warped and the material makes it hard to shoot when wet. We just went and bought a "basketball".

Bought this product for our salt water pool without thinking that the metal rim would not be appropriate for use by our salt pool. The salt water has deteriorated the metal rim. Cannot recommend for salt water systems.

I did a lot of research on the poolside basketball hoops before purchasing this from Brookstone. The prices can vary considerably, as can the quality. I was impressed with the other reviews this product received and we are very happy with our purchase. The price was right and the quality is good. My husband and kids really enjoy paying with this and its adjustably height is a big plus.

Has taken the abuse of many poolside basketball games. Rim is not breakaway, but is quite durable. We just make sure that our guests know that if you hang on the rim, you wont be invited back. Our kids get a lot of exercise and shooting practice. Like that most of it is plastic so we don't have to worry about rusting parts since we have a salt pool. Hoping that it lasts for many more summers after this one.
