All though this idea is great, the design was not thought out properly. When you lift the top of the BBQ the hot steam shorts the light fixture out. I tried returning it to the company, they wouldn't take it back.

This was a gift I received from the family. It broke after one week. I never did get around to calling for a replacement but when I check the website they have a 1 year replacement plan for sale with it. Shows you how much durability to expect from the product.

My daughter got me this for fathers day. I was so happy because we sometimes grill after dark. I put it on the grill that afternoon planing to gill later. it work when I first put in on. After a small rain it no longer work anymore. I went to return the product but I didn't have the sales slip. so I was stuck with it.

My wife bought this for me for Christmas. I used maybe a 1/2 dozen times and the the rain killed it. I don't know what she payed for it, but I had one that she had bought me at Christmas Tree shop 3 years ago for less than $10 and that still works. I left that out all winter.

Cannot believe this plastic grille light product was designed for BBQ useage. What were the designers thinking. After a few months, the body started to melt and the light would not function. Now it is a useless piece of plastic.

I bought this for my husband to use for grilling during the evening.
Our backyard has very poor lighting so he needed something to be able to see the meat with.
We live in southern california where it almost never rains and when it does it's very light and doesn't last long. I was very surprised that this grill light broke after the first light rain. I would not recommend this item to anyone if even that small amount of rain could cause it to break. Also it's very heavy after you insert the batteries.
