I have a nice collection of discs and when they get damaged, they're getting harder to replace all the time. So this disc repair system is just what I need. It makes discs playable and you don't lose any data in the repair process. Plus, you get a great cleaning kit, too!

This device was good at cleaning scratches on the DVDs right after I purchased it. However, after about the 8th disc, the cleaning wheel began to buckle a bit. At this point, the wheel that normally repaired the scratches, not only did not repair the scratches, but made the dvd unplayable. The marks left on the disc after cleaning looked like a pinwheel, and now I have several discs that are useless, as they can't be read by my dvd player.
I ended up throwing this unit away after only cleaning less than 20 dvds with it. Once you see even the slightest buckle in the cleaning wheel, it's no longer useful. Spend an extra $20 and get something that works.

I have owned similar products in the past, but this product didn't do the job. It failed to remove even fine scratches. I even tried running the same cd through multiple times. The icing on the cake was to receive the product with free dead batteries that lasted less then one rotation of the cd. Product was a failure and I was very disappointed.

This thing actually WORKS!!! We had so many dvd's that were scratched and skipped when we watched them... I took a chance on this thing and was AMAZED that it actually WORKS!!!

This is a good product, it is not 100% successful at fixing every disc, but even if you save one or two game discs it is well worth the price. I have used it on dozens with good results.

I got this for my son who had some video games that he could no longer play due to scratches. I figured that the cost of this item is 1/2 the price of a game. What a deal! It really works! My son has buffed 6 games that to replace would have been around $450.00. You will get your money back if this thing just saves 1 of your cd/dvd's! Buy it, you'll love it!

I received this for Father's Day and, although better than another tie, was not what I wanted. This sat in the box for a few months until I tried one of my favorite movies. It was skipping and freezing. I pulled out my SkipDr and ran it for a few minutes. This worked so well, I pulled out several other discs and it worked on them too! I figure I saved about $300 in damaged discs. Wow, what a great Father's day gift :)
