Get cool stuff. Tell the story.
Here at headquarters, we find, design and test new products, run the Brookstone.com site, and create the catalog.
Make people happy. Keep things moving.
We’re the people who ship orders to customers (and our stores). We also help customers before, during and after the sale.
Fly the copters. Make the sale.
It’s our job to encourage people to try the products for themselves. That has always been the secret to our company’s success.

Brookstone was born in 1965.

In 1965, a Harvard-trained engineer and former auto executive named Pierre de Beaumont and his wife Mary Deland created a small mail-order catalog at their farm in western Massachusetts. Their mission was to give hobbyists and other innovation-minded people a new way to get their hands on hard-to-find tools and smart new innovative products. The name of their farm? Brookstone. Today, Brookstone designs, manufactures and markets innovative, high-quality products across numerous consumer product categories, including massage & wellness, technology & audio, and travel. It operates 225 Brookstone-branded retail stores in malls and airports throughout the U.S., a mobile-optimized eCommerce site, and an international wholesale business. At fifty years and counting, the Brookstone mission remains the same. It’s our job to discover, develop and launch new inventions that make life easier, better and more fun. We think it’s a fun way to make living.

Don’t take our word for it.
Take our team’s words for it.

“My first day was great. I was immediately contributing to the advertising strategy of a national brand I had grown up with. And they surprised me with a nice breakfast, too!”

“Deep down, there is no difference between a Brookstone product, a Brookstone associate and a Brookstone customer. They all live to do things better.”

“Unlike at most retailers, Brookstone merchants get to be intimately involved with both product development and overall business management. Each product is like a child. You want to see it succeed.”

“We’re passionate about designing each Brookstone product to be ahead of the curve. The diversity of products I get to work on is what makes me excited to come to work every day.”

“My boss is really more of my mentor. He’s not just looking to ‘get the job done.’ He’s constantly directing my attention toward thinking about the future of my career and to challenging me to develop the skills to get there.”
