I have an extra-firm Tempur-pedic Pillow. Suddenly in May I started to have migraines again as well as nerve and neck pain. My doctor mentioned that I may need to re-evaluate my pillow, I don't recall when I switched to a Tempur-pedic pillow. Recently I ended up back in Physical therapy to manage the neck and nerve pain problems.
Last week, I thought I would buy a new extra firm Tempur-pedic pillow when I saw this anti-snore pillow that was cheaper. I tried both pillows out, but the anti-snore pillow was much more supportive to my neck and it didn't have the terrible smell of the Tempur-pedic pillow. I don't have a snoring issue - my issue was simply a pinching that seems to be occuring in my neck while I sleep. I was amazed -- the first night --I slept almost 8 hours straight through and awoke rested and not in pain for the first time in almost six months! The pillow took some getting used to -- It takes a trial period to figure out how to lay on your side properly, to lay your face in each side, right and left, and turn without waking yourself, but I have to say -- I have had the best week of sleep of my life and even better -- and I don't have terrible neck pain all day long.
This is one of the most supportive neck pillows I've ever used, the pillow cradles your head and keeps your head in the same position, which may be a problem for some people. Because the pillow cuddles your head, it can be a bit hot, but overall, I would say that this is the best pillow I have ever used and would highly recommend this product for people who have nerve pain or neck problems.

I am a side sleeper who requires a very thick pillow, but one that is soft. This pillow is thick and extremely firm. There are ear holes cut out, but they are so close to the side edges of the pillow that you cannot put you ear in them without collapsing the side of the pillow. I.e., they are useless. I have tried putting mt head in the middle as a side sleeper, and it's pretty uncomfortable. In short, pillow needs to be much wider to have any chance of working as intended.

It is impossible to try it out with the plastic still on the pillow. The only way to test it is to try it and then I could not return the $100 purchase when it did nothing to reduce snoring. Very disappointed in the product.

This pillow is hard to use correctly. The ear-holes require too much concentration to find in the middle of the night, for side-sleeping. The pillow is uncomfortable and is not making enough difference in snoring. Been using it 2 weeks, have taken pads out, put them in, taken them out again and can't get a good comfort level. My neck has "cricks" in it when I wake up. The hard foam on the underside is not very "pillow-like". The only position I can sleep in is flat on my back.
The rest of the night I'm tossing and turning to try and get comfortable. You cannot sleep on your stomach on this pillow!!! I am disappointed that the pillow was so expensive, and is not working. I wish I'd read the reviews before buying. I find the negative reviews on here to be very true of my experience with the pillow, only mine does not have a bad odor. Before you buy this pillow, inspect it, look over the construction, see if it makes sense to you. TRY IT OUT IN THE STORE FIRST!

So far, so good. Hubby has been complaining about the increasing volume and intensity of my snoring over the last year. I was actually shopping your site looking at other items when the ad for this product popped up. Of course, I was skeptical about the ability of the product to live up to its claim and can say I have NEVER spent this amount of money on a pillow before, but decided to try it out anyway. My husband reported that my snoring persists but at a much lesser volume and for shorter periods (probably because I move a lot in my sleep and must get comfy in the snore zone). He no longer finds it necessary to leave the room to get sleep so both of us feel relief with the appearance of the pillow.

this is potentially a nice pillow, and hope it is for the price, but it smells so bad I can't lay on it. even with a pillowcase on it the smell is horrible, and it effected a pillow I threw on top of it. hopefully febreeze and hanging it in the garage will help...

Obviously, I bought this product for my wife. If I am snoring, that means I am asleep. After 2 weeks of use, my wife has reported "ZERO DIFFERENCE" in my snoring, much to her dismay. Sorry Brookstone for the negative report, but I have to be honest.

The pillow might be ok for a man, I'm a woman and I bought it for myself. My husband says that I still snore when I use it. I find it to be uncomfortable, its too firm and the area where your neck would go is too large for me.. plus it felt too high. It just didn't work for me at all. I feel like if it came in a smaller version that it would have been better.

the first thing I noticed was the density of the pillow foam, not wimppy. I am a back sleeper and the neck support it gives is great for me. I removed two of the support pads and that is where I found my comfort level.I will buy another if and when this one loses it's support features.
