When Brett Hull kicked off his NHL career most people assumed he would forever live in the shadow of his legendary father Bobby Hull.
However Brett Hull developed into a star in his own right. Over the course of his career he scored 741 goals, played in eight All-Star Games, won two Stanley Cups, was named NHL MVP in 1991 with St. Louis, and to this day holds the single-season right-wing scoring record with 86 goals. Fittingly both he and father Bobby won Hart MVP Lady Byng sportsmanship and All-Star Game MVP trophies.
