I love warming this up before I go to bed and cuddling with it, it keeps me the perfect temperature. I really don't need a blanket but since it stays warm for a few hours eventually I'd freeze. The only thing about it is that when you first take it off the plug it's pretty hot and I made the mistake of putting it on my bare skin once and it burned the heck out of my arm, so my suggestion when first taking it off is to be sure you have a layer in between until it cools down slightly.

Great product! Nice that after its heated, you don't have to deal with cords while you're using it. Only problem I've had is that a little of the saline in the bag leaked out because I put weight on it- have been careful not to do that again.

It's so nice to have a heating pad without a cord. This heats up quickly (20-30 minutes)and lasts a long time. It's a little difficult to get in and out of the cover sometimes (you have to do that to plug it in), but it's not bad.
It's great on your neck or other sore spots. Best of all you can fall asleep with it and not worry about it burning you as it will be cooling off...but not too quickly!
