I stumbled across this little gadget while I was shopping for a wireless speaker for my Ipod/Iphone. At [$], I decided to give it a try. In about one minute, got this little gadget hooked up to my older model Bose Wave Music System (radio/CD player). Now, I can listen to my Ipod music in stereo sound. I was contemplating buying a high-end wireless speaker. So expensive! Now, I'm getting the sound quality I was looking for at a fraction of the cost! GREAT deal! Just make sure that your existing sound system/boom box has an auxiliary input. You'll need it to plug in this device. If you are using this with an Iphone, the stereo connection drops when you get a call. Then it automatically reconnects to the stereo when you hang up. You control the music selections from your Ipod and you control the volume with your sound system controls.

I bought this at a Brookstone store, where the simplicity appealed to me. However, both the display model and ALL of the packaging photos show NO USB cable connected. Same with all the website photos. This led me to believe that this device had a rechargeable battery like a bluetooth headset, which I thought might be convenient for a "make your own wireless headphones" setup.
Now, I realize that it never said it had a battery, but the photos are misleading. This device needs to remain plugged into a power source at all times.
Please correct the photos.

I was excited abut using this product to stream music from my iPad to my Yamaha Rx-V870 receiver which has speakers throughout my house and outside from years ago.
After getting the device, bought the RCA 3.5mm adapter on line to hook Connect up. Discovered there is no AUX on my receiver, so tried the phono and got great sound. BUT, the receiver turned intself off, repeatedly. I suppose it is not compatible.
Waste of money for device, shipping and cables.

I have two of them. I've used them both with my iphone and my ipad. Same results on both devices.
Music skips frequently.
Powers itself off then you have to hold the button down for 3-5 seconds to turn it back. Then you have to go in your BT device and select it. Too many steps. Should always be ready to connect.
I won't even give them away. They have no value.

I have an older car that doesn't allow me to sync my IPod. Using this with paired with an FM transmitter I can now play hours of music without having to change the channel when I go from state to state. Bought it for the house didn't know it would come in handy for the car.
I also use it with a pair of computer speakers in the kitchen when I'm doing my cooking and want to hear a little music.

The unit is very nice. It set up quickly and connects easily. It would be nice if I didn't have to wake it up from sleep when I want to connect but I guess it's good that it's not always consuming power even when not in use.

Easy to set up, save hundreds of dollars using speakers you already have and make them wireless with this. Someone said its not portable, I had it setup in my car using a micro usb charger (blackberry) in less than a minute. You only have to wait 7 seconds to pair it otherwise its pretty instant for playing and volume control. It comes with a micro USb power cord and a 3.5 mm aux cable. Sure it could come with an rca adaptor but then again this costs only [$] bucks.
