We actually bought this clock for ourselves back in January 2012. Our grandchildren loved it so much, I bought one for them in March 2012. No matter where they are in the house, when they hear the cuckoo clock sounding, they come running into the area to watch it, like it's their new personal friend. Has a convenient shut off switch if you want in to stop cuckoo-ing. Love it.
