I had some free time in the airport and saw this bionsense products, I initially wanted just the lumbar support cushion but it was a special offer for the 2d. product so I got this also. I always make fun of travelers that carry their pillow and neck cushion but I get it, this will be with me all next trips.

I got this travel pillow as well as the Tempur-Pedic one so I can directly compare them. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend either one.
This one looks good and the cover does not collect lint. The Tempurpedic cover attracts lint. My hair gets painfully tracked on the zipper of the Tempurpedic pillow, this Biosense pillow has a hidden zipper which prevents this from happening. The Tempurpedic pillow is rather flat and won't support my head at all, it just provides a cushion for my neck. This biosense pillow is thicker and will hold my head in place. The Tempurpedic pillow is made in the US while this Biosense pillow is made in China. The Tempurpedic material is dense, heavy and thermoresponsive. The Biosense pillow is a lot softer, I like both materials so that is not an issue for me but if you want high quality dense pressure relief material this is not it. The Tempurpedic pillow cover is elastic and conforms to your neck just like the foam does. The Biosense pillow cover is not elastic at all and won't stretch. And that is the actual problem of this pillow, it is very uncomfortable because the cover won't adjust to your neck. You can actually feel the seams (those two pretty mint green accent lines, very uncomfortable) because you end up with your neck pressed onto the pillow cover. Hard to explain. Bottom line is, this pillow would be very comfortable if the pillow case was stretchy. But since it is not, it is painful to use. Without the cover it is actually quite comfy, I may have to make my own cover but for the price I didn't expect to have to make my own pillow cover. Aside from this major issue I prefer the Biosense travel pillow over the Tempurpedic one because it is thicker and provides more support on the sides.
I hope Brookstone will design a new pillow cover for this. Or if Tempur-Pedic would increase the thickness of their pillow then that would work as well.

I use pillow for everyday use on my neck due to neck problems.. previous surgeries, and herniated discs.. It helps to cradle my neck, where ordinary pillows just dont support, to help keep pain to a minimum.
