I purchased this fan for my fiancé, he is always overly warm when he sleeps. I was worried it would not fit between our mattress and footboard because we have a sleigh bed, but it fits perfectly and the fact that it adjusts is wonderful. He loves that it keeps the sheets cool by his feet. I would have given it 5 stars if the air flow was a bit stronger; it is not able to force air under both a sheet and a comforter. The remote is great, it makes adjusting the air flow easy and convenient. The power cord is rather long which is nice, I thought I would have to use an extension cord but it easily reaches an outlet all the way at the head of our king size bed. Great product!

This is a great idea to avoid hot & sweaty nights when your spouse insists on lots of covers. The problem is the poor design. You better make sure you pick the right kind of AA batteries for the remote, or the fan won't work at all! I went through lots of problems with the fan not working. After no help from customer service, I finally figured out on my own that the design of the battery compartment was not allowing the positive end of the battery to contact the terminal. I switched brands of batteries and it finally worked. Except the other problem that the filter/cover of the fan would pop off if even barely touched. Which is a huge problem since the cover MUST touch the floor. I can't believe how horrible the design was for such an expensive fan! And you better plan to keep it between the mattress and footboard. Otherwise it will just tip over when you turn it on high. Also, if you toss and turn at all the sheets will shift and end up blocking the fan.

Purchased because I wanted to be able to keep A/C cost down by keeping thermostat higher. I am someone that likes it cooler when I sleep and usually turn thermostat down 2 degrees at night. I found by using the bed fan I didn't have to turn thermostat down. The bed fan actually made me cold and I had to throw a blanket on top of my usual covers. This is exactly what I wanted it to do. The unit does seem to be made somewhat cheap and some people complain about it tipping over, which it does very easily if not secured by your flat bed sheet. I just tuck the bed sheet in under mattress around the bed fan and this takes care of the problem. The bed might not look real neat but who cares if its keeping you cool. Also, the remote seems to be a little touchy. It seems as though it doesn't always turn on or off on the first touch. I've only used it a few times so time will tell if it will continue to have problems.

The base is too small to remain balanced and upright, so while to concept is great, it usually ends up laying flat on it's back by the morning.
Also seems to have an auto-off timer which does not keep it running all night, if it does stay upright.

My husband uses this on his side of the bed nightly and loves it! It's nice to have the constant airflow once we're in bed. His only problem is that the remote doesn't connect well. We moved the fan from the end of the bed to the side so the signal didn't have anything blocking it, but it still isn't 100%. When it doesn't work from his nightstand, he puts it on the floor and that seems to do the trick.

Keeps you cool when the hot flushes start in the middle of the night. You do not have to kick the covers off only to fumble around when you wake up freezing after the hot flush passes. So much less intrusive to your sleep by just tapping the remote to turn on and off. It keeps you from having to fully wake up to adjust the covers...just a light tap when it starts and a light tap when it passes. It saved my life by providing a more restorative sleep pattern The only thing better would be no more hot flushes!!!!

This fan works. It cools without any question. However, it is noisy. The remote work most of the time. The "filter Screen" pops off almost as soon as the fan starts. Adjusting the height is a pain. The tiny, flimsy levers are worthless. To make it even more worthless.... have a dog step on the fan head while getting out of bed and the little, flimsy levels/tabs will snap right off making it impossible to ever adjust the height again.

The fan is not very quiet, especially if placed directly on a hardwood floor. Readjusting bed covers causes the unit to tip over backwards. It does provide a ice cooling breeze, but the noise from the an keeps me awake.

I received this as a gift from my wife to help me keep cool at night. I am always "burning up" at night which causes me to throw blankets on and off,and I erupted sleep patterns. After using this fan for the first time, my sleep instantly improved. I was able to sleep through the night without tossing and turning, and over heating.

My wife slept horribly. We had a room fan (which freezes me) yet she was always waking up multiple times per night with sweats. The was exacerbated when we bought a Tempurpedic memory foam mattress which retains body heat like crazy. At first, her feet were freezing, but after accidentally realizing the fan was adjustable (via convenient remote)we are both much happier. It concentrates the air on her (and not me.) It is whisper quiet.
