I use these on a patio at night. Unfortunately, after a few weeks they stopped working even after I put in new batteries. I bought the same brand but with multi-color at Xmas and the same thing happened then.

I got two of the white cordless lights as outdoor Christmas decoration for my house. The lights aren't as bright as plug-in lights but they looked very nice as well. They lasted the whole season and the timer worked perfectly. Be aware that the box attached to the lights, which holds the batteries and timer is quite heavy, so you will need to find the place to put it down since it's too heavy to be hung. Other than that, great purchase.

It only took 10 minutes to set 3 sets of lights up with batteries and decorate my living room for a party! They were light enough to intertwine with pointsettias, but sturdy enough to use outdoors. What a great find!!
