A handcrafted console table using bamboo and wood materials that adheres to the principles of sustainability
The use of bamboo in furniture is the perfect material because of its rapid growth. Though a known fact for centuries, the use of bamboo in furniture has been either limited or crude. With the console table we have added simple, attractive design elements to bamboo furniture.
The top is a light color carbonized (heated) bamboo veneer and an added treat is the contrasting stained ash veneer wooden legs. Any glue used is certified as non-toxic. The console table comes with a bottom shelf (17 inches from top of bottom shelf to underside of top shelf) for storage. Only minor assembly is required and all tools are provided.

Perfect dimensions for my 55" TV. My only wish is for a smoked glass hinged front enclosure to disguise the video components I put on the lower shelf.
