We bought this as a carryon for flying so between flights we could wheel it from gate to gate. It is ideal for that and fits in overhead with ease. Also fits under seat in front which is great. Only thing is we have Tumi luggage and the quality of this Brookstone bag does not compare. Fabric is thin and zippers are flimsy and probably will not last too long.
