I bought this for myself several years ago. Have used it nearly 2-3 days a week since for business. It weights virtually nothing empty, yet expands almost magically to cope with business files, travel documents, even my heavy 13 inch laptop. I put my handbag in center compartment and zip it up, then stow other things in outer compartments. Love that the interior lining is a different, brighter color than the black exterior so one can find /see things. Only improvements would be one pocket on outside to stash boarding docs, and a "tote strap" to easily secure it over handle of luggage. I've tried other more "stylish" totes but always come back to this one, primarily becaues of the lightweight aspect and the ability to stash handbag inside to meet carry-on requirements. Material is durable, showing virtually no wear after several years. Fits easilly under airplane seats - even small regional airplanes. Strap length is perfect, fits comfortably even over coats and jackets. The few times I've returned from a trip with less than I started this tote easily flattens to almost nothing and can be stowed in suitcase. Water seems to bead off the material. I would not say it is completely rain-proof but this tote has protected my things when standing on the tarmac in the rain waiting to board. There are multiple interior pockets, which I find handy to store energy bars, medicine and jewelry.

This is a great bag! I've looked for so long for a tote bag large enough to use as a purse, as well as a carry-all for items needed for my three toddlers. I already carry a diaper bag, but I needed space for crayons, coloring books, a few matchbox cars, etc. (Things to keep the kids quiet when out.) This is the only bag that worked, and I've looked at Coach and Dooney & Bourke. This bag was more affordable, and better organized, offering much more room than it looks like it can offer.

Also, the shoulder straps are a great length. I was concerned because the bag doesn't have a longer strap, but it is not a problem at all. The bag stays right where you want it.

The only thing that would have made it better would have been if it had been more structured, meaning that it will stand up on its own. It folds over where the contents end.
I'm hooked on the Baggallini.
