The idea of this product is attractive but it simply runs too much. It activates every 1-2 minutes or so and since it runs on batteries it can become a bit costly. Also, it makes a buzzing sound when activated so you're stuck listening to it all day. I ended up taking the batteries out of it. I will be returning this.

Its a mini pump with nice rubber seal. Cool technology!
Works better than those stoppers you have to pump out the air, and leak the air back in very quickly. It is a little tall so you may have to adjust your door shelf in the fridge.
I gave it only 4 stars because there may be a better product out there that I don't know of, but it could easily be a 5 star.

I purchased this product for my husband for Chritmas of "09". It was a great idea for us but after my husband used it a few times he found that he was replacing the batteries almost every other time. The items runs on batteries 24/7 when in use so we found that it has become very costly. the item itself wasn't expensive but to replace the batteries 2 AAA more often is almost not worth it. The product itself is GREAT the wine tastes as good as when you first open the bottle so I guess it's your choice in making the purchase..just be sure you have many many AAA's on hand because you will need them if you drink wine like we do.

I used this twice and it stopped working during the second use. I even changed the batteries, reset, re-read the directions, etc. The concept is good, but this product just doesn't cut it. I will be returning mine.

The first time that I used this product, it worked wonderfully! It was easy to use, just as it states; however, that was the only time it worked.
I even replaced the batteries, and the product still does not work. I have ensured that it was clean and per all instructions.

I was very disappointed with this product. It does not work. The device does not turn on even with new batteries. I plan to return this product. Stick with less fancy manual vacuum pumps -- I have had decent success with them.

In my experience, it's rare to be able to finish complete bottle/s in one sitting. Even if you have friends over, and open multiple bottles, inevitably there's one left half-full at the end of the evening. Wine pumps make it easy to enjoy the remainder at another time—and truly this is the smartest wine pump out there. Just put it on. It goes to work immediately—plus, it will turn itself back on as needed, for as long as it's on the bottle.
